You can use VIBRA without an account
Browsing, listening and liking all work without signing in. We ask you to sign in only before creating a song, because every generation costs real money and the daily limit has to belong to someone.
What we receive when you sign in
Signing in with Google or Facebook gives us your account id at that provider, your email address, your display name and your profile picture. We never see your password. We use this to keep your library attached to you across devices, and to recognise administrators.
What we store when you create a song
We store the song itself, its title, and the text of the request that produced it (up to 500 characters), along with your account id if you were signed in. This is what makes your library and your shared links work.
Cookies we set
A signed session cookie keeps you logged in. A device cookie named vibra_did lets us count one like per device. We set no advertising cookies and do no cross-site tracking.
Likes and abuse limits
So the same person cannot like a song over and over, we store a device key next to the song: either the vibra_did cookie or, when it is missing, a hashed form of your IP address. We also count requests per IP address to keep the generator from being abused.
Who else sees your data
The text of your request goes to Google, whose models compose the music, on a paid tier that is not used to train their models. The site and your songs are hosted on Microsoft Azure. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it, and deletion
Songs and account data are kept until you ask us to remove them. Ask through the Support page and we will delete your account and your songs. Shared links stop working once a song is deleted.
Age, contact and changes
VIBRA is for users aged 18+ (or with a parent’s consent). Questions and deletion requests go through the Support page on this site. If this policy changes in a significant way, we will announce it here.
